The Baker's Bread is dedicated to my four kids -- A.J., Austin, Aiden, and Anna Beth. As a father and the spiritual leader of my home, I did my best to teach them God's Word. I wanted to leave behind a guide that would be useful to them (and my grandkids) for years to come.

I have taught and retaught the lessons in The Baker's Bread in my school and church for 20 years. They are an extension of God's greater calling on my life -- "to set my heart to study the Bible, to practice, and to teach it to others" (Ezra 7:10).

Spending time in God's Word every morning is the highlight of my day. Nothing inspires, energizes, or excites me more than reading, studying, memorizing, teaching, and applying the Scriptures. I trust this little book will convey my love for the Baker and His Bread.
